Pastry:

1- Flour……………………………500 grams
2- Butter…………………….……300 grams
3- Sugar cubes’ powder……1 tablespoon
4- Water or milk……………….about ½ a glass
5- Salt……………………………… ¼ a teaspoon

Pour the flour in a bowl and add salt and sugar powder, and make a whole in the center. Add the water in the center of the whole, and stir. Cut the butter into small slices and put in the middle of the paste, and add it with your clean fingertips. Do not exercise too much. Just mix the contents.
Leave the pastry in a plastic bag and leave for 2 to 3 hours.

Pie:

1- Pastry………………………….1 Kg.
2- Apple…………………………..1/2 Kg.
3- Sugar Powder……………….3 to 4 tablespoons
4- Butter…………………………..50 Gr.
5- Cinnamon…………………….1 tablespoon
6- Green raisins…………………2-3 tablespoons
7- Egg yellow…………………….2

Grease the metal dish and select 2/3 of the pastry and leave the remaining 1/3 for the top. Spread the 2/3 of the pastry on baking paper as a circle. The circle must be a very little bit bigger than the dish, so it covers the walls of the dish. We turn the the circle into the dish, and the pastry will cover the walls of the dish, then take the paper itself and leave the pastry in the dish.

Divide the apples into 4, then pick the shell and cut them into thin slices. Then spread one layer of apple in the dish,and pour one layer of sugar powder, and a layer of cinnamon powder, and add some green raisins. Then cover it with another layer of apple, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins until the dish is full. Then we put small pieces of butter on it and make another circle of the remaining 1/3 pastry. Put the lid on the dish, and press the edges with your fingertips to tighten the two pieces.
Make a whole in the center to let the air out during baking. You can decorate the top of it by drawing thin lines on the top by the use of a fork.

Then stir the two egg yellows well , and spread it on the top by the use of a hair-pen.

Put the dish in the pre-heated microwave oven, with hot air cooking, and leave for 25 minutes to cook. (Or pre heat the normal oven to 400 degrees Centigrade, then lower the oven to 350 degrees and leave the dish in it, on the lower rack, for 25 to 30 minutes, then put it on the upper rack for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden)

You can serve the pie both hot or cold. Enjoy!
