Tex Mex Strata

3 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt or more to taste
4 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 Cup mayonnaaise
1 ( 1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans jalapeno bean dip
1 large bunch green onions, chopped
3 medium size tomatoes, seeded and coarsley chopped
2 (3 1/2 ounce) cans pitted ripe olives, drained and coarsley chopped
16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated

In a medium-size bowl, mash avocados; add lemon juice, salt, Tabasco sauce, and pepper. In another bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco mix. In a 9×13 inch glass casserole, spread the bean dip in a layer. next, spread the avocado mixture; then the sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with the green onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped olives; then cover top with the cheese. Refrigerate until serving time. Use tortilla chips for dipping…..

Can be prepared in advance through the sour cream layer, and refrigerated. Add remaining layers at serving time.
