2 lbs of thin sliced Sirloin steak
1 cup of vinegar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon sweet pepper
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 pinch of cardamon ( hab hal)
1 tablespoon of mashed garlic
salt to taste
Marinate the meat ovenight in the spices , garlic and vinegar.
Fry the meat in a little bit of oil until half cooked , cut it in thin stripes, and put it in a pyrex . Cover with aluminium paper and put it in the oven for about 20 mn, uncover it and leave it in the oven for 10 more minutes and serve.
PS: So far I never found in the US the fat you’re supposed to put with the meat (li’e) so I just do it without it.
