Ingredients:

— 500g Wheat flour.
— 250g Vegetable oil (butter).
— 125g Sugar powder
— 500g Black and soft dates
— 125g Walnut
— 1 tbsp Cinnamon
— 1 tsp Cardamom
— 2 tbsp Chopped Pistachio

Ranguinak Recipe

Directions:

Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add wheat flour; lower the heat, stirring all the time until the wheat flour turns yellow or light brown. Remove the pan until it cools a bit.

Then add the powder sugar, ground cinnamon and cardamom to the mixture, blending it well. Remove the pits from the dates and fill them with a piece of walnut.

Fill the pastries with a layer of the flour mixture then a few dates and finally another layer of flour mixture. Decorate the top with sliced pistachio.
