You can make these using most vegetables but Andy recommends using potatoes, onions, couliflower and broccoli for best results.
Required Ingredients: Vegetables
1 cup of chickpea flour
1/4 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of crushed coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon of chopped ginger
How to make:
Slice the vegetables quite thinly. Make sure that an adult is around to help you if you’re using a very sharp knife.
To make the batter mix the flour and the water together in a bowl until smooth.
Add the coriander seeds, chopped ginger and fresh coriander and salt.
How to cook:
Dip the sliced vegetables in the batter so that they are covered all over.
Heat some oil in a pan as in the recipe above. Make sure that you have an adult to help you as the oil needs to get very hot!
Add the vegetables in batter to the pan and cook until browned.
