Preparation time: 15 minutes
Okra — 1 pound (half inch pieces)
Onion — 1 large
Crushed Garlic — 0.5 tsp.
Red Chili Powder — 1 tsp.
Yoghurt (plain) — 0.5 cup
Green Chile — 2 medium (sliced length wise)
Turmeric — 0.25 tsp.
Salt to taste
Oil — 3 tbsp.
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet, add finely chopped onion and fry until light brown. Then add garlic and fry for a minute. Now add chopped okra and sliced green chile. Fry on high heat for three minutes and then add salt and turmeric. Lower heat to medium, add yoghurt and cook until yoghurt is absorbed. Then sprinkle cumin seed powder and remove from heat.
