Nar – Govurma Recipe

Ingredients:
— Mutton – 330gr.
— melted butter – 30gr.
— pomegranate – 50gr.
— chestnut – 180gr.
— onion – 100gr.
— saffron – 0,05gr.
— coriander and dill – 15gr.
— pepper – 0,1gr.
— salt.

Nar – Govurma

Recipe Directions:

Cut mutton into 60 – 70-gram pieces, salt and pepper and fry in butter. Add in onion browned in butter, cleaned chestnut, broth and saffron infusion and leave to steam. 5 minutes prior to readiness, add in pomegranate pips or juice. Sprinkle with herbs when serving.
