Chopped Chicken With Mushrooms

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4

Required Ingredients:

Chopped chicken — 500 grams

Oil — 1/4 cup

Mushrooms — 250 grams

Coriander Leaves — a fist-ful

Red Chili Powder — 1 tsp.

turmeric — 1/4 tsp.

Salt to Taste

Set 1

Coriander Seeds — 1/2 tsp.

Nutmeg — a small piece

Cinnamon — 1/2 inch stick

Cardamom — 2

Cloves — 4

Directions:

Powder set 1 and keep aside. Cut mushrooms into 4 pieces each.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry mushrooms on high heat for 7 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium and add salt, turmeric, powdered set 1 and red chili powder. Fry for three minutes.

Later add chicken and coriander leaves, stir well, cover and let cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes or until most of the liquid (from Mushrooms) evaporates.

Goes well as a stuffing in sandwiches and also with puri and paratha.

Instead of set 1 you may use 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. (depending on how strong a flavour you prefer) meat masala.
