Vanilla Birthday Cake

Materials for classic vanilla birthday cake;
- 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 3/4 cups plain flour,
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 5 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
For the frosting :
- 3 sticks (1 1/2 cups ) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- Pinch fine salt
- 3 1/4 cups icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
Preparation for Vanilla Birthday Cake
First we will start with cake. Mix flour,baking powder and salt in a bowl. Then take another bowl add butter, sugar and oil in it start mixing it with the mixer at medium speed approximately 5 minutes. Then beat eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture and milk into batter. Take 2 roun cake pans and butter the sides and bottom for prevent sticking. Also dust with flour too. Divide batter between these pans equally. Bake these 2 cakes for 35-40 minutes. Then leave them for cooling.
Meanwhile you can prepare frosting. Stir the butter and salt with the mixer at medium speed until obtain smooth mixture. Slowly add icing sugar and beat it. Don’t add all of the icing sugar completely. Then add 2 tablespoons of milk and beat it gradually.
Now it is time to combine them together! Take one of the cake as base and spread 1 cup of frosting. Place the second cake and spread all sides with remaining frost and decorate as you want.
You shoul prepare this cake before one day before serving.
